Collection: Terry Hannock

Terry Hannock began painting in oils and acrylics in 2008 after owning and leading a retained executive search firm for 27 years called Flynn, Hannock LLC.

Hannock always had a love for art and being an incessant doodler. In 2007, Terry moved to South Carolina Low County; he enrolled in classes at the Hilton Head Art League's Art Academy.  In his first student show Hannock earned The People's Choice Award. Throughout his career he has worked with many distinguished artists. After experimenting with numerous styles, Terry began his concentration on abstract and landscape painting using both oil and acrylic paint. His paintings are shown at the SoBA Gallery in Bluffton, The Art League Gallery on Hilton Head, Hilton Head Hospital and Alexander's on Hilton Head. He states that most of his work is a study of light and color, whether it involves sunsets in many of his landscapes or the strong use of colors in his abstract paintings. Terry's paintings are in collections in the Low Country in South Carolina, the Northeast and Midwest.

A prior native of New York and Connecticut, Terry is a graduate of the Choate School and Union College and served as a captain and Missile Combat Crew Commander in SAC in the USAF. Hannock has been married to his wife Pam for 55 years. They live in Bluffton, SC. Their two children and their 5 grandchildren live in Connecticut and Colorado.
